This is one of the earliest Seiko Quartz watches I have ever seen!
The bracelet does have a crack in one of the links sadly but other than that it is in great condition.
These watches are VERY special! Before Seiko launched their full production QR/QT quartz watches in 1973 they made some watches in limited numbers housing the 3802 and 3803 movements and they were so early Seiko had not assigned a model name to them. They are more difficult to find than full production watches like the QR’s and Grand Quartz watches and were made for a very limited time in the early 1970’s. They are the earliest Seiko quartz watches still obtainable, anything made before these are impossible to find and incredibly valuable.
I imported this genuine working vintage Seiko from Japan and it has run perfectly since then. I have tested the accuracy of this watch over a period greater than 7 days and it is very accurate. I have done some work on this watch in preparation for sale, here is everything you need to know about this watch.
I have thoroughly cleaned this watch after removing the movement and dial and refinished it in places to improve its appearance. The crystal has been polished and any scratches have been removed. The steel has also been polished and brushed and after a final clean and inspection, the watch was reassembled. The accuracy of the watch was once again tested over a period greater than 7 days to ensure it continued to work faultlessly which it does.
